Stipendiary Trainees / Technician (ST/SN) (Category II) – Plant Operator [Plant Operator- 59 Posts]
Candidates must have passed HSC (10+2) or Intermediate (with Science subjects) with minimum 50% marks in Science and Mathematics individually. Candidates should have had English as one of the subjects either at SSC or at HSC level examination.
Stipendiary Trainees / Technician (ST/SN) (Category II) – Maintainer [Fitter- 31 Posts, Electrician- 12 Posts, Electronics- 12 Posts, Instrumentation- 04 Posts, Welder- 01 Posts, Machinist- 06 Posts, Turner- 05 Posts, AC Mechanic- 02 Post]
Candidates must have passed SSC (10th) with minimum 50% marks in Science subjects and Mathematics individually and 2 years ITI certificate course in Fitter/ Electrician/ Electronic Mechanic/ Instrument Mechanic/ Welder/ Machinist/ Diesel Mechanic trade. Candidates should have had English as one of the subjects either at SSC or at HSC level examination.
Stipendiary Trainees/ Scientific Assistant (ST/SA) (Category-I) – Diploma Holders in Engineering [Mechanical- 21 Posts, Electrical- 13 Posts, Electronics- 13 Posts, Chemical- 08 Posts, Instrumentation- 04 Posts]
Candidates must possess Diploma (three years duration) in Engineering with minimum 60% marks in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Chemical recognized by the Government of India. Candidates with HSC + 2 years Diploma course in Engineering (Approved by AICTE) with 60% or above marks are also eligible. Candidates should have had English as one of the subjects either at SSC or at HSC level examination.
Stipendiary Trainees / Scientific Assistant (ST/SA) (Category-I) – Science Graduates [Chemistry- 03 Posts, Physics- 06 Posts]
Candidates must possess B.Sc. with a minimum of 60% marks. B.Sc. shall be with Chemistry as principal and Physics/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Electronics & Computer Science as subsidiary OR with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects with equal weightage. Mathematics at H.S.C. (10+2) level is essential. Candidates having Mathematics as the principal subject at B.Sc. are not eligible. Candidates should have had English as one of the subjects either at SSC or at HSC level examination.

Scientific Assistant/B – Diploma Holders in Civil Engineering [Civil- 02 Posts]

Scientific Assistant/C – Safety Supervisor [Civil- 02 Posts]

Age Limit: Minimum age limit is 18 years and maximum is 25 years for Category-I Stipendiary Trainee /Scientific Assistant posts; 30 years for Scientific Assistant – B posts; 24 years for Stipendiary Trainees / Technician (Category II) Posts. However, relaxation in upper age limit for reserved category is applicable as per government rules.
Stipend/ Pay Scale:
Stipendiary Trainee /Scientific Assistant (ST/SA) Category-I: Rs.16000/- p.m. (consolidated) will be paid during first year of training period and Rs.18000/-p.m (consolidated) will be paid during second year of training period.
Stipendiary Trainee /Technician (ST/Tech.) Category-II: Rs.10500/- p.m. (consolidated) will be paid during first year of training period and Rs.12500/-p.m (consolidated) will be paid during second year of training period.
On successful completion of training, the Stipendiary Trainees (Category-I) are likely to be considered for appointment to the post of Scientific Assistant/B in the pay of Rs. 35400/- in level 6 and the Stipendiary Trainees (Category-II) are likely to be considered for appointment to the post of Technician/B in the pay of Rs. 21700/- in level 3 of Revised Pay Structure (Pay Matrix).
Those appointed as SA/B and Technician/B will be on probation for a period of one year and shall be confirmed in the post on successful completion of the probationary period.
To be considered for appointment to the post of Scientific Assistant/B in the pay of Rs. 35400/- in level 6 of Revised Pay Structure (Pay Matrix). Candidates will be on probation for a period of one year and shall be confirmed in the post on successful completion of the probationary period.
Mode of Selection: Candidates will be selected based on the Written Examination conducted tentatively in April, 2019; Skill Test, and Personal Interview as per applicable.
